Banana chips

Skin semi- ripe bananas and cut them into thin circular slices. Put them into heated coconut oil in a wok. When they are partly fried, add turmeric powder and salt, drop by drop. When they take on a golden colour, remove from the flame.

These banana chips are also known as Vaazhakkka chips and  Kaaya fry.
