Padmaprabha Literary Award

Padmaprabha Literary Award is a prestigious literary prize in Malayalam instituted in memory of freedom fighter and socialist, who is considered to be the modern founder of Wayanad district, M.K Padmaprabha Gowder.  The awards are announced every year by Padmaprabha Trust formed in 1996.
